Ice fishery started last week
The traditional fishing method using four-handed nets, which is rare across the country, is a seasonal sight that heralds the arrival of spring.

The Shirouo Festival is full of the charm of the fish (^ν^)
On the day, there will be events that can only be experienced in Yuasa, such as eating dancing whitebait, scooping whitebait, and observing whitebait fishing, as well as a market where you can purchase Yuasa's specialty products (＾∀＾)

And during the Shirouo Month (until March 31st) which starts tomorrow,
In addition to holding a Shirouo photo contest,
You can also enjoy icefish dishes at restaurants in the town.(Reservation required)

There will also be a night fishing for icefish on Sunday, March 2nd.
Come and enjoy the fantastic sight of illuminated four-hand net fishing.
On night fishing days, the local revitalization cooperation team will also be holding a community stall in front of Yuasa Station.
